Locally, the Cambridge branch has over 400 members. We run Ante-natal classes, provide Post-natal support via local individuals and groups, organise donations of breast milk to the Rosie Maternity Unit and fundraise with a bi-annual Nearly New Sale. We are also involved in the Maternity Services users groups, influencing local policy and facilities.
We currently hold weekly “Open House Groups ” throughout Cambridge and surrounding villages. These are purely social gatherings in people's homes. Refreshments are provided by the host family and there are toys for the babies and children. You do not have to be an NCT member to join in. Neither do you have to host the open house in order to attend. The coffee mornings provide informal support and a social outlet for parents.
So if you are expecting a baby or have pre-school children and would like to get to know other families, then contact us at Admin@CambridgeNCT.org or telephone 01223 567900. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to the many and varied activities for young families within the area. |
